This 12-volt halogen 60/55w bulb fits all European headlamps originally equipped with tungsten (non-halogen) R2 45/40w bulbs. This new halogenization bulb produces 1650/1000 lumens (high/low beam) compared to only 860/675 from the old R2 bulb, for substantially more intense, whiter light. This is a very effective drop-in upgrade of the headlamps on your old European car, truck or motorcycle. Lasts longer, too! This bulb is compatible with most vehicles' wiring, if it is in sound condition. However, for vehicles with very thin wires and/or very low capacity charging systems, use the 45/40w version instead.
