  
Original-equipment Philips D4S mercury-free Xenon HID bulb made in Germany. Exact replacement for projector-type HID headlamps originally calling for D4S bulbs. It is best to replace these bulbs in pairs, because as they age, the color of their light changes. Replacing only one bulb of a pair will cause the two headlamps to emit light of noticeably different color. D4S bulbs cannot be used to replace D2S bulbs, because the photometry, voltage requirement, ballast, and base indexing are different.
